Riding Background:
Started adult cycling at age 30 because I was getting old. Started with duatalons and found out that I was a much better cyclist than I was a runner. Past President of local bicycle club and I am the current Education and Advocacy Director.

How did you get into Recumbents?
I met some riders that I enjoyed riding with that also rode recumbents. I had a good first impression. I wanted to experience all types of bicycles. I wanted to set a cycling record, and the recumbent records seemed reasonably attainable to me.

How did you get asked to be a TEAM BACCHETTA team mate?
I had won the inaugural UMCA 24 hr recumbent championship in 2004. At Sebring in 2005, I was riding a locally built recumbent that I had helped develop but had a falling out with the builder right before the race. Consequently this was going to be a one race deal. Throughout the race, Rich Pinto kept trying to give me a “Hand off”. After the race I was so impressed with how well the Bacchetta riders treated me, I went up to Rich and said “My name is Larry Graham and I am looking to buy a bike”. Rich’s response was: “ You’re Larry Graham! I know about you. Did you really go 425 on a V-Rex? Call me when you get back home”.

What Bacchetta do you ride?
Ti Aero and CarbonAero prototype frame #8.
